Localis, the Barnum-Dann’s flagship restaurant, is located in the Poverty Ridge district of Sacramento’s vibrant midtown community. It’s a fine dining restaurant whose mission is to give guests the best possible tasting menu experience. The Pour Choice, Auburn

The Pour Choice, owned by Jordan and Melinda Minyard, is Auburn, California’s first and only craft coffee bar and tap room. It is the marriage of all things craft. Their aim is bringing people together, those in the shop and those locally and around the world who are creating the delicate, robust and unique notes found in the 28 taps at the bar. In an ongoing consulting chef role, Barnum-Dann creates the food menu and presentation, and trains the staff to execute it.

Scorpio Coffee, Sacramento

Scorpio Coffee, owned by Sam Balean, is Sacramento, California’s best craft coffee bar. Its internationally award-winning team lives to make technically excellent and extraordinary-tasting coffee. In an ongoing consulting chef role, Barnum-Dann creates the food menu and presentation, and trains the staff to execute it flawlessly, just like they do each cup of coffee.

 

 

Coming 2022/23 | PARTNER & EXECUTIVE CHEF

Kindred, Auburn

With Jordan and Melinda Minyard, owners of The Pour Choice and Clementine Coffee, Barnum-Dann is partnering on the Kindred Project. It will be located in what’s known as the old Mickey’s Boots historic building at 875 Lincoln Way in Downtown Auburn. Kindred will include a coffee roaster business, a coffee training laboratory with courses for the public, an artisan creamery, and a full bistro with a bar in the middle featuring beer, wine and cocktails. Barnum-Dann will operate both the bistro and the creamery.
